Yes, that's me, and yes, it was cold! My life has been a bit like a quilt, beautifully pieced together with many places I've lived, including Alaska. I'm a military spouse, mom of two humans, and two four-legged kids. My mother and aunt are amazing quilters and taught me to quilt 25 years ago. It's been my favorite hobby ever since. I love color and texture, but especially the idea of keeping someone warm (even when I'm far away). Longarming is my favorite part of the quilting adventure; the stitching that brings the vision to life.
