RATES
Square Inch Price
I charge 3 cents per square inch for all designs.
Example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches. 60 x 80 = 4800 x $0.03 = $144.
My minimum quilting charge is $40. This means that for a small quilt or table runner, the square inch price will be rounded up to the $40 minimum.

Batting
I use and stock my favorite Winline batting in 80/20 cotton/poly blend.
Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.
I charge for batting by the linear inch from queen-size rolls of batting, except in the case of special orders. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 6" margin) and charge per inch.
For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 66" of the batting of your choice.
66" of 80/20 cotton/poly blend @ $0.45/in = $29.70
Thread
I stock both Glide (#40 & #50 weight), Omni (#50), and PremoSoft threads. I don't charge any extra fees for thread use; it's included in your square-inch price.
My personal style attempts to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
Photography
I'm not a professional photographer but I do my best to take "nice" photos with my "good" camera! :) Upon completion of the quilting, I will take photos of your quilt in my well-lit studio and then text/email you those images to use however you would like. I'd just ask that you credit me for the photo and/or quilting if posting publicly. This extra service is included in your square inch price.
Shipping
Shipping your top and backing to me:
I live in New Mexico, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. Once you "Book A Quilt," I will contact you with the shipping address. I recommend sending your materials enclosed in some type of bag to protect against moisture while in transit, and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority Mail (using flat-rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $100 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to purchase additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.
Other Costs
As mentioned above, batting is not included in the square inch price. The State of New Mexico requires collection of 8.1875% sales tax on the quilting service portion of an invoice. Batting, shipping, and any design/pantograph fees are not subject to sales tax if outside the state of New Mexico.
